Based in Brooklyn, Cha Cha has become part of the borough’s evolving nightlife and creative community, appearing behind the decks at venues including Mood Ring, Keybar and Whisk & Whiskey and performing across neighborhood parties, cultural celebrations and late-night events. Whether setting the tone for an intimate room or driving a packed dance floor, Cha Cha’s sets move fluidly between eras and genres—balancing recognizable records with selections that make people stop, ask what they're hearing, and stay for the next track.

As a Cambodian-American creative, Cha Cha also brings cultural identity into the work without allowing it to define the limits of the sound. Appearances around Brooklyn have included Cambodian cultural celebrations and programming that connects music with community, nightlife and the city's broader Asian-American creative scene.

That combination of cultural perspective, musical range and an instinct for reading a crowd defines the DJ Cha Cha experience. Rather than simply playing records, Cha Cha builds an arc—moving from groove to nostalgia, discovery to release, and ultimately turning the dance floor into a communal space.

DJ Cha Cha is Brooklyn energy without borders: familiar enough to pull you in, unpredictable enough to keep you there.
